Is There Just too Bucking Much to do?

If you feel like your time is slipping away, and you have too bucking much to do, please keep reading to see our tips for time management.

Make sure to set an alarm every day so you can wake up on time and you’re ready for everything that needs to get done.

Once you’re up, start your day right by prioritizing your tasks. Such as making yourself a to do list, and putting the most important tasks first. For example, brew your coffee.

Set reminders in your phone for your other tasks that need to get done that day. For example, walking the dogs at certain times so you don’t have to clean poop off of your nice carpeted living room floor. Setting reminders will keep you on track throughout the day, so that you are able to get all of your jobs done.

Keep your phone out of reach, so you aren’t tempted to scroll social media all day. You’ll still be able to hear important calls and reminders, but won’t have the urge to hold it in your hand all day. This will enable your brain to focus on what needs to get done. Your important research paper won’t get done if you’re on facebook all day scrolling for funny memes.

Don’t forget to give yourself mental health breaks too! They are needed. Keep yourself in check, even if it’s just a quick five minute walk around the building, or standing up and shaking your booty at your desk. Get your wiggles out, this will give you more energy and make you happier and not so sleepy.

Help me! Help please! It’s ok to ask for help if you’re feeling overwhelmed. Communicating with your coworkers and manager if you are falling behind is ok.Asking someone to help meet deadlines is  perfectly fine to do, but don’t make a habit of it, you don’t want to look like you have bad time management skills. You can reprioritize your day as needed. Things will change, and shift as the day goes on. Sometimes that means tasks get delayed, or pushed up. Be flexible with yourself.

If you have any time management strategies feel free to share them with us, and keep up the good work! We all have projects to get done, and it’s easy to push them off, but if you take things one step at a time, eventually it will all get done.
